This is too good not to share...
I was on the bus with a friend the other day, talking about this and that in French. I guess it's like having to listen to someone speaking on her cell phone in a bus: you can hardly ignore it. So every now and then, speaking French in a confined space like this gets some kind of reaction, as it did that night. My friend was talking to me from her front seat when someone sat beside her. Interested, he asked whether we were speaking French... already giving us some clues as to the extent of his French. When she confirmed, he asked whether she'd like a "demonstration" of his abilities in la langue de Molière. Sure... So, there it went: Lez Oilers dé Edmonton, lez Flames dé Calgary, lez Canucks dé Vancouver, lez Canadians dé Montreal, lez Maple Leafs dé Toron'o. Wow... his performance was almost as "amazing" as the Habs' this season!

Hee! Or the Oilers', from what I hear...
A refreshing example OTHER than "voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir?" Man, I'm getting tired of that one.
Nice to see you back!
